Kids’ Fun Nights

Wednesdays, July 18 & 25, Aug 1, 8 & 15, 6:00-8:00 PM, Sunny Acres Manufactured Home Community (1 mile east of church). Since Jesus said to love your neighbor, surely, He would want us to love those that live near our church building. And so, we will! Join us as we serve our neighbors and share God's love. Empty nesters, young adults, families, and singles are all invited to serve with us. If you can help load/unload a truck, assist with sports, do crafts, play games, hang out with parents, or want to learn more, please contact Rob Busse.

Talk Less, Say More

Everyone wants to have a voice and be heard, right!? But how we go about being heard might actually be hindering our effectiveness. The Bible gives us a model to follow which is so contrary to our natural inclinations and the culture. But here’s the important thing – it works! Join us in July for practical teaching that we can all use in becoming more like Christ in how we communicate with others.

JULY 25-29

This year each Evergreen location will be reaching out to their own communities with love, service, acts of kindness, and prayer and there may even be some things that we do together! Our prayer is that God would receive greater glory and that He would grow our church locations through local mission work.

You can register online HERE. It is free to register, however $50 per person is a suggested donation to participate. These donations will go into our Kingdom Builders fund.

Contact Pastor Rob Busse at or 612-839-9594.

Service Projects Needed

If you or someone you know needs yard work, housework or other general projects done, we would love to be the hands and feet of Christ and serve them for FREE. Please submit possible project leads so we can begin making plans and gathering tools and materials. Contact Carolynn Barnes at  952-997-9788 or

30th Anniversary Celebration CANCELLED

Given the recent investigation results and all of the resulting emotions being felt throughout our multi-location church family, we have decided this August would not be the proper time for an anniversary celebration, so we have decided to cancel the previously planned August 19th event. Ecclesiastes 3:4 says, "There is a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance”. Let’s take this time to weep and mourn with those in need, knowing that the Lord will give us another time to celebrate in the future.

Immigrant Hope-Bloomington

Immigrant Hope, directed by Pastor Jeff Groen of Evergreen-Bloomington, is a non-profit organization that was created to serve the immigrant community in Bloomington and the Twin Cities south metro area with the HOPE of the gospel, HELP finding a pathway to legal residency, and a HOME in a church that cares for their needs. The staff is accredited by the Department of Justice and meets with immigrants, helping them understand their options and, if able, providing low-cost immigration legal services. Immigrant Hope – Bloomington is located in the Admin Wing here at Evergreen Church-Bloomington. Questions? Contact or 952-564-3767.
