"And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
for the Mighty One has done great things for me—
holy is his name.
His mercy extends to those who fear him,
from generation to generation."
Luke 1:46-50 (NIV)
Mary isn't the only person that God has blessed richly. Our Lord has blessed every one of His children with a treasure, talents and time. Thank you for taking the time to learn about the Legacy journey Evergreen Community Church – Lakeville is participating in this fall. Your time, talents, and treasure are all gifts from God and we appreciate you using some of your precious time to become engaged in this church-wide experience.
During this journey we all are at unique and individual stages and no matter where you are on your journey of spiritual growth with God, we absolutely believe that God wants to use your gifts. The most life-changing, influential and personally engaging days of your life still lie ahead. It's our privilege to press on with you as we follow after Christ together.
Beginning in October, we as a church will begin a six-week Spiritual Growth Challenge utilizing the "One Month To Live" book and video series. During these six weeks we seek to discover what God has done, is doing and wants to do in and through our lives.
As we know, God has already blessed each of us so richly. He has also done so much for our church family by providing a building for the future generations of Evergreen-Lakeville to build their legacies. However, many financial needs still exist with having our church building. This fall our church will be entering a three-year Stewardship Challenge to give us the opportunity to learn how we may give back some of our time, talents, and treasure that God has blessed us with so richly.
